Mr. Giorgi Shubitidze has more than ten years of experience in conducting project/program/strategy evaluations and assessments using qualitative and quantitative research methods.
His relevant track of records include, but not limited to the evaluations and needs assessments regarding the following issues: environment (including evaluation of forest reform), migration, gender, peace and security (evaluation of National Action Plan of Georgia 2012-2015), youth, political activeness, vulnerable groups (including people with disabilities, children, etc).
In this regard Mr. Shubitidze has prepared evaluation designs, conducted/coordinated desk and field work (including approximately 700 focus groups and 500 in-depth interviews) and developed final analytical reports. He has broad experience in the field of Rural Development, including drafting the Rural Development Strategy of Georgia (2017-2020), implementing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating rural development pilot projects, developing community development strategies and managing small grants support program for agricultural and rural development.
Giorgi teaches Sociology and Contemporary Social Theories at the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs and Tbilisi State University.
