Mrs. Saudia Rahat holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Guyana, a Master’s of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Management, with specialization in climate change from the University of the West Indies and an Advanced Masters of Science. in Development Evaluation and Management with specialization in national institutions, poverty reduction strategies and aid effectiveness from the University of Antwerp. She has experience in eighteen Caribbean countries for over eleven years in the areas of strategic planning, climate change adaptation, disaster risk management and monitoring and evaluation. Saudia has experience in leading and designing project evaluations and developing monitoring systems for tracking progress at the community, national and supranational levels. She is also an experienced trainer that has delivered M&E trainings to diverse stakeholder groups such as community members, government officials, non-governmental organizations, donors and international development agencies. She has recently co-authored two publications related to monitoring and evaluation for climate change. She is a member of Climate-Eval - a Community of Practice that shares good practices on climate change and development evaluation.
