Ms. Patricia Velarde has been Communicator for Social Change with honors of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, and MSc in Governance and Development in the University of Antwerp, Belgium, with eight years of professional experience in communication strategies oriented to social change, environmental education and management in several regions of Peru, as well as in development studies and strategic planning with the international cooperation and public sector. Since 2016 Ms. Velarde has worked at the Ministry of Education in Child Protection and Well Being in rural schools, being member of the Multisector Commission to promote education of rural children and adolescent girls. Ms. Velarde is currently professor of “communication for social change” at PUCP University.
