Mr. Zaza Chelidze has been working at FAO since 2015. Currently he is involved in several projects, including SDG related projects. He is FAO National Consultant on SDGs in Georgia and at the same time an International Consultant on SDG Indicators working in REU countries. He has sound experience during the 17 years of working in public sector of Georgia. He was part of the number of successful reforms in the fields of economy, statistics and public administration. While occupying the position of Executive Director and Chairman of the Board at National Statistics Office of Georgia he has managed to form the office as an independent state institution, improved the system and developed international standards and methodology.
