The programme works towards regional cooperation and strengthen domestic peacebuilding initiatives that promote social cohesion, good governance and conflict sensitive business practice. It includes support to several government entities, civil society, the private sector and multilateral partners.
The evaluation reviewed the work of programme since 2020 and their alignment with the 2021-2023 strategy. The findings of this review feed into a broader organisational review.
Through application of the desk review, qualitative and quantitative research methods, the evaluation assessed the following three areas: Progress towards strategic goals and peacebuilding outcomes, Progress towards expected capacity outcomes, PeaceNexus' positioning, activities and approach (quality of services).
