Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) Georgia in partnership with Rights Georgia, Caucasus Open Space, Together for Real Changes, Abkhazinterconti and Media Center Kakheti is implementing EU funded project “PASS – Provide Access to Support for Survivors of Gender-based and Domestic Violence”.
The goal of the project is to reinforce the role of civil society and position it as an effective force to prevent and combat Gender-Based and Domestic Violence and Provide Access to Support for Survivors (PASS).
The project worked in three directions: 1) Regulatory framework: Promote improvement of the policy and legislative framework and increase accountability of respective Government entities/ agencies. 2) Awareness: Contribute to overcoming stereotypes and harmful perceptions regarding gender-based norms among local communities. 3) Support: To promote the social and economic rights of persons exposed to gender-based violence and/or domestic violence through increased access to services at the local level, economic empowerment, coordination, and legal support.
