The main aim of this assignment is to assist Association Organic Georgia in enhancing its financial stability through identification of optimal revenue sources and planning corresponding programs. Particularly, this includes the following activities:
- Conduction of the Needs Assessment aimed to gain in-depth insights into the needs of Organic Georgia and the goals they seek to achieve in the coming years;
- Development of a training curriculum for member farmers on contemporary crop growing and bioproduction methods;
- Conduction of the training sessions for up to 50 association member farmers;
- Elaboration of a comprehensive export strategy;
- Identification of a list of potential European importers;
- Development of a package of recommendations and a toolkit for various means of funding, including membership fees and association services;
- Development of a comprehensive local market sales strategy for organically produced citrus products (including market research, identifying trends, competitive landscape, and potential market gaps or opportunities for organically produced domestic citruses, establishing SMART objectives for local market sales strategy, sales targets, market share growth, customer acquisition, brand awareness, etc.);
- Development of a trademark for organically produced citruses in Georgia;
- Supporting Organic Georgia to meet legal requirements for registration of developed trademark with the national intellectual property center of Georgia;
- Development of a targeted marketing messages and promotional materials that resonate with the local audience and reflect the culture, language, and preferences of the community.
