During December-January, 4 days intensive training on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) was conducted for the representatives of different organizations. The following issues were discussed during the training: Purpose of monitoring and evaluation; Role of monitoring and evaluation in the strategy / project / program management cycle; Logical framework, Indicators; Theory of Change; Evaluation criteria and periodicity; Research methods (qualitative and quantitative), sampling; Evaluation planning and budgeting.
The training process was based on the discussion around M&E concepts using practical examples and exercises. After the training, participants were given certificates.
