The 4C project envisions a world where no one dies of AIDS and where sexual health is a right for everyone, enabling people to love freely without fear. The project centres on communities most affected by STIs and HIV due to systemic discrimination and exclusion. By amplifying their voices and providing them with essential information, resources, and support, the project aims to create lasting change for these communities.
Launched in January 2023, the 4C project focuses on empowering and supporting community-based organizations that protect vulnerable groups from infections and improve the lives of those affected by STIs, HIV, and viral hepatitis. Funded by the European Union, the project is implemented by a consortium of five partners across three European countries: Greece, Spain, and the Netherlands. The target populations include migrants, men who have sex with men, transgender people, and sex workers, particularly those who experience multiple layers of marginalization due to intersecting identities.
Method used: Desk research, Key informant interviews, Focus group discussion, and Case study, survey.
