Leave no one behind – strengthening health and social systems affected by COVID-19 in Georgia

The project “Leave no one behind - strengthening health and social systems affected by COVID-19 in Georgia” is implemented by World Vision Georgia in partnership with National Centre for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC) with the financial support of the Austrian Development Agency (ADA). The project main goal is to implement effective communication, health, and protection measures to steer vulnerable population groups through the pandemic and to build community resilience for a sustainable, inclusive COVID-19 recovery in 15 Municipalities in 5 regions of Georgia.

A baseline assessment measured the status of the project indicators and understand the starting point of key elements of the work.

Method used: desk review, qualitative research (Focus Group Discussions), quantitative study.  Location: Georgia: in the capital Tbilisi (all 5 Municipalities), in Imereti (Kutaisi, Zestafoni, Bagdati), Kakheti (Telavi, Gurjaani, Kvareli), Samtskhe-Javakheti (Adigeni, Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi) and Adjara (Batumi).
