The project aims to reduce losses, improve food safety and quality, boost competitiveness, productivity and trade within the Georgian dairy and beef market systems.
The contract aims to conduct two types of assignments by DEPA Consulting:
1) Semi-annual data collection (Waves VI, VII, VIII, IX, X and XI) from the project participant dairy and beef value chain actors (dairy farms, beef fatteners, slaughterhouses, dairy and beef processors, input suppliers, milk collection centers and dairy and beef retailers) in order to:
- Collect interim information from project participants on key outcomes and project performance indicators;
- Assess progress on results between external evaluations;
- Receive feedback from the project participants and report on outcomes.
2) Ad-Hoc Qualitative Study of Project Participants aims to assess the impact of the project-on-project participants, except grantees, through collecting feedback from the dairy and beef value chain actors, government servants, educational/research institutions, and opinion makers in terms of potential impediments and challenges faced for this sector and region specifically, as well as collect clear insights for the successful cases.
