The aim of the research was to study firewood and other energy resources consumption practices in Kakheti region. In frame of the research, the practices of the population of Kakheti region were studied in relation to the following issues: Heating system / systems distribution; Share redistribution of fuel resources; Annual volume of firewood consumed; Distribution and classification of fuel resources according to how much firewood is consumed; What part of the firewood is on the homestead plot, or the pine extracted outside it; Period of use of fuel resource during the season; The period of wood production in the forest, which was brought or purchased; Whether the home heating system or fuel resource type has changed in the last five years and whether it is planned for the next 2 years.
