Baseline Study for the project Rural Development for Sustainable Growth of Tetritskaro Municipality (including youth component)

The aim of the baseline study was to assess the baseline social-economic situation in Tetritskaro municipality and to define baseline value for project indicators. In the framework of the study, DEPA Consulting assessed employment rate and living conditions of the Tetritskaro municipality, with subsequent focus on poverty alleviation and growth.

The baseline evaluation analysed four priority areas of the participatory Local Development Strategy, elaborated by the Tetritskaro Local Action Group:

• Environment protection, Management of Natural Resources and DRR
• Development of rural and agro-tourism
• Facilitate development/rehabilitation of rural infrastructure
• Supporting agriculture/non-agriculture initiatives to increase its competitiveness and modernization
