Save More in Migration, implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), aimed to support Georgian migrant workers in Greece by improving savings practices, strengthening the developmental impact of remittances, and enhancing the long-term benefits of labour migration.
As part of the endline survey, a quantitative phone survey and key informant interviews were conducted with Georgian migrant workers residing in Greece to assess the results of the trainings delivered by IOM. The study collected data on migrants’ financial behaviours, including saving habits, remittance patterns, and access to financial services. The findings enabled a comparison with baseline data and an assessment of project outcomes, evaluating the effectiveness of interventions designed to promote financial literacy and strengthen migrants’ economic resilience.
