The project objective was to undertake a Baseline and Market Potential Study (BMPS) for sustainable mountain tourism activities in the focused municipalities in Upper Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi-Lower Svaneti and Upper Svaneti.
The study aimed at consolidating available knowledge and data presented in various technical, strategic and ad hoc documents, official statistics, etc. into one authoritative document.
Methods used: desk research, key informant interviews, focus group discussions and quantitative survey.
