Pre-Feasibility Study for Proposed Kutaisi Park Area Development
DEPA Consulting has completed a comprehensive pre-feasibility assessment for a major infrastructure project in Kutaisi and its surroundings. Designed to generate rigorous, evidence-based insights, the study equips partners and stakeholders with the data necessary to drive strategic investment and sustainable development decisions in the region.
To evaluate the project’s viability from both commercial and community perspectives, DEPA Consulting used a comprehensive mixed-methods research framework. The study effectively balanced macroeconomic modelling with direct grassroots engagement.
The assessment delivered a 360-degree view of the project’s potential through several key analytical pillars:
- Economic & Market Analysis: An evaluation of current market dynamics, assessing investment attractiveness, identifying potential commercial risks, and forecasting preliminary capital (CAPEX) and operational expenditures (OPEX).
- Socio-Economic Impact Mapping: A forward-looking evaluation of the project's projected long-term economic and social benefits for Kutaisi and its residents.
- Comprehensive Population Study: A deep dive into local consumer behaviour, socio-demographic characteristics, current utilisation of leisure and entertainment spaces, and broader public perceptions regarding the city's urban development.
To ensure the highest level of data accuracy and contextual relevance, the team used integration of qualitative and quantitative research tools:
- Desk Review: An extensive analysis of existing municipal data, economic indicators, and regional development strategies.
- Stakeholder Interviews: Qualitative interviews with key institutional and community leaders.
- Representative Population Survey: Face-to-face interviews conducted with Kutaisi residents, ensuring a statistically valid, representative sample of the local community's needs and expectations.
By bridging financial forecasting with localised community insights, the resulting pre-feasibility study establishes a solid foundation for sustainable, high-impact urban development in Kutaisi.
