Evaluation mission in India
During January 15-23, DEPA Consulting Expert Mrs. Ana Diakonidze has visited Gujarat, the state in India, for the project evaluation.
The project “Sustainable Improvement of living conditions in 100 villages of Gujarat through strengthening public participation in local governance” was implemented by Don Bosco Development Society. It aimed to contribute to the improvement of quality of life in villages of Gujarat, promotion of sustainable rural development in targeted area through strengthening public participation in local governance, support in basic health, basic education, vocational training and promoting access to financial services, self-employment and small business.
In frame of the mission Mrs. Diakonidze, accompanied by the local expert Mrs. Jessica Maria Sharma, met with the project beneficiaries, stakeholders and conducted workshops with the representatives of Don Bosco in India. The project evaluation results will be reported in March, 2020.
